About Zen for Primates

Zen For Primates was founded in 1987 by guitarist Mike Krisukas and vocalist T. Roth (Another Pretty Face). They have continuously toured the country playing such landmark venues as The Bottom Line in N.Y.C., The China Club in both N.Y. and L.A., and The Tin Angel in Philadelphia. Bummertent Records has released 5 Zen cds including a Christmas and Live cd.

The band features brilliant, sardonic vocals backed by a wild amalgam of pop, classical, world music, rock, blues and jazz. The stage is alive with two violins, cello, electric guitar, French horn and saxophone, which create a sound that has left critics baffled and yet raving for years.
