Regional Band Showcase

The Regional Band Showcase is back for 2008! This battle of the bands competition has become a 'fest favorite and has provided an amazing opportunity for some of the region's best up-and-coming bands!

How to Submit Your Band

Submissions are currently being accepted for 2008. To enter, send us a presskit for your band that includes a CD, VHS or DVD, photo, contact info, bio and any other information you'd like to include.

Submissions must be postmarked by May 30, 2008.

LIVE Semi-Final Event

Approximately 16 semi-finalists will be selected to advance to the competition's LIVE semi-final event at the Banana Factory on Saturday, June 28. The event is free, so come and check it out!

NOTE: Bands MUST perform at the semi-final event in order to be considered for the finals at Musikfest. Judges at the event will then select 6 bands to perform at Musikfest, while online voting will determine the last two slots in the finals.

The Prizes

8 finalists will be selected to receive a performance slot at Musikfest 2008 at Plaza Tropical and $250.

1 grand prize winner, selected by judges at Musikfest, will receive a recording package and a guaranteed booking at Musikfest 2009.
