The O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance is proud to be the only certified school in the Lehigh Valley registered with An Comisuin Rince Gaelcha. It is the largest and most recognized Irish Dance organization headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. An Comisiun is home to dancers such as American born Michael Flatley, Jean Butler and many of the Riverdance and Lord of the Dance troupe members. OGrady Quinlan students range in age from 4 to adult and we offer many classes for dancers to learn proper technique and to develop a strong foundation in the traditional Irish dances – reels, jigs, slip jigs and hornpipes! We proudly support community service efforts in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. We are a recognized leader in the competitive aspect of Irish Dance. In April 2013, 17 of our solo dancers and four ceili teams represented OGQ in the All World Irish Dancing Championships. OGQ’s teaching staff has grown to six certified teachers with locations in Bethlehem, Allentown, Bloomsbury, Hatfield and Annapolis, MD. Ms. Colleen Schroeder, one of the founding members of the academy, recently earned the title of adjudicator and is now able to judge competitions worldwide!
