It’s time to tee off in support of the nation’s largest free music festival as the Musikfest Golf Tournament presented by Frederick’s Meats and Tri Outdoor returns for its third year. The fun-filled tourney, which sold out in less than a week last year, will take place July 6, 11 a.m., at Bethlehem Golf Club, located on Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem.

A unique four-man scramble, the Musikfest Golf Tournament features food stops at several holes where golfers enjoy Musikfest favorites served by some of the festival’s most popular food and drink vendors including Aw Shucks, Bethlehem Dairy Store, Coca Cola Bottling of the Lehigh Valley, Heaven on a Bun and Island Expressions. The afternoon concludes with a delicious buffet and the awarding of a variety of great prizes.

The Musikfest Golf Tournament is limited to 36 foursomes and includes two flights. Prizes are awarded to the top teams in each flight, as well as for the longest and straightest drives and the closest shot to the pin. Any golfer who scores a hole in one on the 14th hole will win a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze courtesy of Chevy 21 of Bethlehem. Other prizes to be awarded by Chevy 21 on other holes include a three-day golf vacation to French Lick Resort in Indiana and a $500 online shopping spree.

Early bird registration for the tournament is $450 per foursome through March 30; regular entry fees are $500 per foursome or $150 per person. Entry fee includes greens fees, golf cart, Musikfest gift bag and food & beverages. Registrations can be made online at or in person at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

Sponsors helping to make the Musikfest Golf Tournament possible include Frederick’s Meats, Tri Outdoor, Banko Beverage Company, Christmas City Printing and Chevy 21. Proceeds from the event go to support ArtsQuest’s music, arts and education programming for the community, including the 500 free concerts the nonprofit presents annually at Musikfest.

ArtsQuest is also looking for additional sponsors to help present the fun day on the course. Sponsorship packages include a foursome in the tournament, as well as other great benefits. For more information on becoming a sponsor, contact Nicole Dotta at or 610-332-1334.
