Inclusion Zones are accessible and inclusive spaces that are available to all individuals who may benefit from the opportunity to take a quiet break from the general festival environment. These sensory-supportive spaces are run by trained staff and volunteers, and provide services, tools, and amenities known to benefit individuals with sensory-processing issues regardless of age and ability.
- At the Inclusion Zones, you’ll find experienced staff, a variety of comfortable seating options, a privacy area for families, and many different games and activities to support relaxation, play, and movement opportunities for all ages and abilities.
- You can also pick up a “Festiquest” booklet to help you get more involved in the festival experience. It can give a sense of purpose to people with autism and social anxiety, and you earn rewards for completing quests!
