Erich Cawalla makes a busy living in the music industry. As an extremely versatile vocalist and instrumentalist, his performing style invokes a jazzy swinging yet contemporary R&B sound mixing some of his biggest influences including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, David Sanborn, Frankie Valli, Kenny Rankin, and more.

In 2006, Cawalla started The Uptown Band, performing as a featured act at thousands of shows. Cawalla just released his debut album "Erich Cawalla - The Great American Songbook" with Special Guests including Grammy-Winning Trumpeter Randy Brecker and Violin Virtuoso Karen Briggs. The album was released at Cawalla's hometown Berks Jazz Fest in front of 700 people at his alma mater, Governor Mifflin Senior High School. It features a traditional 17-piece big band with string orchestra. The album has received critical acclaim as well as significant radio airplay throughout the world.

Joining Erich will be the immensely talented, Cliff Starkey on piano.
